The latest Global Antisemitism Report highlights 104 new incidents of antisemitism monitored worldwide by the Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) by CAM during the past week.

Broken down by ideological categories, 46.2% of the incidents were Far-Left (48), 29.8% Islamist-Inspired (31 incidents) and 10.6% Far-Right (11), with 13.5% Unaffiliated/Other (14).

The headline of the week was the failed hijacking of a FlyDubai flight en route to Tel Aviv by plane’s co-pilot, an Omani national.

A 9/11-style calamity was narrowly avoided only thanks to the bravery and heroism of the passengers and crew who intervened, overpowering the hijacker and making an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia.

In the 12 hours immediately following the incident, CAM’s Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) detected and recorded a proliferation of antisemitic conspiracy theories on social media claiming it was a “false flag” operation orchestrated by Israel or Jews.

A total of 2,963 such X posts were identified, generating at least 30,000 likes and three million views.

The ARC documented 104 antisemitic incidents globally, including seven violent acts, threats, or foiled plots.

The Middle East and North Africa was the primary geographic hotspot for antisemitic activities, with the ARC tracking 26 incidents this week.
