Witnesses said Israeli military vehicles also opened fire towards the southern and eastern areas of Khan Younis and the northern parts of Beit Lahia, while naval vessels fired towards the coastlines of Rafah and Gaza.
The Israeli army also carried out large-scale demolitions of buildings and facilities in eastern Gaza, local sources reported.
As of Saturday, Israeli violations of last year’s ceasefire agreement have killed at least 1,445 Palestinians and injured 5,072 others, according to Gaza’s health ministry.
Since October 2023, Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 175,000 others, according to Palestinian figures, also destroying about 90 percent of the enclave’s infrastructure.
