CALDWELL, Idaho — Roughly 15 people are in the hospital after a memorial ride ended in a major crash on I-84 in Caldwell.
According to a news release from Idaho State Police, the crash happened at around noon on Saturday near milepost 28.
A group of motorcycles was traveling westbound for a memorial ride when a crash occurred involving 7 vehicles and 25 motorcycles. About 15 people were taken to local hospitals via helicopter, ambulance, and personal vehicles.

The condition of those involved has not been released.
Police say the interstate was shut down for hours while crews cleared the scene, and those lanes have since reopened.

Idaho State Police is investigating the crash.
