The body of Hannah Cain, 45, was found at her home in Dersingham in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Her husband, Mark Cain, was arrested at the scene and taken in for questioning.
Police confirmed the 45-year-old was charged with her murder this afternoon.
He will appear at Norwich Magistrates Court in the morning.

Ms Cain was known professionally as Dr Hannah Terry and worked at a doctors surgery in nearby Grimston.
The couple’s home is on the edge of the Sandringham estate and around a mile from the King’s Norfolk home.
According to reports in the Sun, Ms Cain had worked with the Royal Family, and treated senior members.
The King and Queen are understood to have been informed of her death.
A Home Office post-mortem examination took place yesterday (October 5) and determined that the cause of death is pending further investigation.

Those living in Dersingham have described it as a quiet corner of Norfolk and say they have been left in shock by the murder.
“She was just a lovely human being with three gorgeous young children,” one neighbour said.
“Something’s obviously gone very badly wrong. I’m just out of words, we all are.”
