Convicted Fort Hood mass shooter Nidal Hasan will be put to death in the same manner and place that he carried out his bloody rampage, officials revealed Tuesday as they announced an execution date.

Hasan – who killed 12 US service members, one civilian, and wounded 32 others during a horrific November 2009 shooting at Fort Hood – will be executed by firing squad on December 3 at 1 p.m. at the very military base he once terrorized, Army Secretary Adam Telle announced in an X post Tuesday night.

The murderous ex-soldier’s method of death — by firing squad — was recommended by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and approved by President Trump on Monday, Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell announced.

“Judgement day for Hasan has finally come,” Parnell wrote in a separate X post announcing the method of death, noting Hassan was “shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ during the [2009] attack.”

Hasan, a former Army major and psychiatrist turned terrorist, attacked troops on line to be immunized at the Texas Army base before being shot in the back and left paralyzed by a responding police officer.

At trial, the mad major told a military judge that he was defending “the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the Taliban.”

He was sentenced to death by a military court in 2013.

Hasan will be the first service member to be executed by the armed forces since 1961.
