Pete Hesgeth praises USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group and recognizes for Iran mission

The USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group has been recognized by Secretary of War, Pete Hesgeth for its historic mission against the Iranian Navy, which included enforcing an impenetrable “steel wall.” During the conflict, the group completed 10,000 sorties, logged 23,000 combat flight hours, and successfully sank 59 Iranian vessels without suffering a single aircraft mishap or casualty.
