The Scout is tipping four players for big success in Gameweek 6 of 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League ahead of Saturday’s 11:00 BST deadline, to help managers gain an edge over their mini-league rivals.
Gonzalo Garcia (Fulham) £6.0m
Fulham enjoy a favourable run of matches between now and the November international break.
The Cottagers face all three promoted clubs in quick succession, followed by Aston Villa and Newcastle United. None of those matches score more than three in the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), where one is the easiest and five is the hardest.
All of Fulham’s next five opponents rank 10th or below for the most Expected Goals Conceded (xGC) in 2026/27, too.

So, Fantasy managers may want to consider an attacker from Alvaro Arbeloa’s side for the upcoming Gameweeks – and Garcia is one of the standout candidates.
The Spaniard ranks among the Premier League’s top four forwards for both overall shots and shots in the box, with 15 and 13 respectively.
Unsurprisingly, those totals can’t be bettered by any of Garcia’s Fulham team-mates. Neither can his Expected Goals (xG) tally of 2.34.
The 22-year-old, who has scored eight penalties in his fledgling career to date, may even be in with a chance of inheriting spot-kick duties. Last season’s taker, Raul Jimenez, departed in the summer.
Marcus Tavernier (AFC Bournemouth) £6.1m
Someone else who may benefit from having penalty-taking responsibilities, at least in the short-term, is Tavernier.
Two of the other Bournemouth players who have been on spot-kick duty in recent times, Justin Kluivert (£6.0m) and Junior Kroupi (£7.4m), are currently injured.
Even without penalties, however, Tavernier is delivering the goods.
No Fantasy midfielder can better his total of three Premier League goals, all from open play.
Tavernier ranks fifth among midfielders for Non-Penalty Expected Goal Involvement (NPxGI), too. Indeed, his tally of 2.61 NPxGI is even superior to the likes of Martin Odegaard (£6.8m), Cole Palmer (£9.7m), Pascal Gross (£5.9m) and Kevin Schade (£6.2m).
Chelsea away may not seem like a great fixture to bring in a Bournemouth player for, but the Blues, for all of their attacking flair, have conceded more Premier League goals than any other side in 2026/27. They’re also without a top-flight clean sheet since January.
Harvey Barnes (Newcastle) £6.1m
Newcastle, like Fulham, have a favourable five-match run coming up.
Promoted Coventry City are next, while Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Fulham, who the Magpies face in Gameweeks 7, 8 and 10, are all in the bottom three for xGC.
Matthias Jaissle’s side, meanwhile, are one of only four Premier League clubs that have scored in every Gameweek of 2026/27.
The omens look positive for Newcastle attackers before the November international break, then.
Barnes is arguably the top target, having delivered one goal and three assists already this campaign.
Stepping out from the shadow of Anthony Gordon after his summer move to Barcelona, Barnes is benefiting from something he has rarely enjoyed in previous seasons: a sustained run of starts.
When he is given the chance to play, the midfielder generally delivers. Despite starting just 48 Premier League matches since the start of the 2023/24 season, Barnes has registered a superb 22 goals and 12 assists in that time.
Jarrad Branthwaite (Everton) £5.5m
James Tarkowski (£6.2m), the top-scoring defender in Fantasy, is understandably attracting plenty of interest after a superb opening five Gameweeks.
But can his fellow Everton centre-back Branthwaite match him?
The cheaper of the two defenders outperforms Tarkowski for defensive contributions. Branthwaite has also had the same number of shots in the box, and one big chance to his team-mate’s zero.

Managers who can’t afford Tarkowski could do worse than consider Branthwaite, then.
The pair are integral to an Everton defence that can’t be bettered for Premier League clean sheets and the fewest goals conceded this season.
The Toffees face Hull, Coventry and Newcastle over the next five Gameweeks, all teams who rank among the bottom five for the worst xG.
