(TNND) — The seventh person arrested in connection with a security incident at RAF Fairford, a U.S.-used military air base in England, has been released on bail, authorities said Thursday. British officials have linked the suspected terrorist plot to Iran.

The unnamed 22-year-old British man was arrested in London’s Westminster area on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts. Counter Terrorism Policing said he was released under strict bail conditions.

All seven men arrested in the case are now on bail while “specialist teams continue to pursue all lines of enquiry,” officials said.

RAF Fairford, a base used by American bombers to strike Iran, was evacuated Sept. 27 after a tipster reported suspicious vehicles in the area. Police said they found gasoline in three vans linked to the original five suspects, but no explosives.

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham said there are “strong indications” that Iran played a role. Iran’s Embassy in London denied involvement, calling the speculation “unfounded and malicious.”

The new arrest came after the U.S. moved B-52 and B-1 bombers from RAF Fairford on Sunday. Trump told reporters Monday he did not want to tempt “the enemy” by keeping the bombers there.

“We had a threat, and if we’re going to be threatened, we would just move them, and that sort of alleviates that,” he said in Washington. Trump said those behind the threat “would be linked to Iran,” but did not offer details.
