Ken Paxton, U.S. Senate candidate in Texas, told a group of donors and lobbyists at a recent closed-door event that the Iran war, and its subsequent effect on fuel prices, is more to blame for his campaign issues, according to an audio clip published by Axios on Wednesday. The audio clip release came on the same day President Donald Trump was in Texas to stump for Paxton.
