BALTIMORE —
Baltimore police are investigating a shooting in Southwest Baltimore that killed two young men.
According to preliminary information, officers responded Friday afternoon to a reported shooting near the 2800 block of Ellicott Drive. City police said officers found an 18-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.
Police said three other men walked into a hospital with apparent gunshot wounds. A 19-year-old man died from his injuries. The two other victims, ages 21 and 22, were stable.
Friday’s shooting occurred nearly 3,000 feet away from Leon Day Park, where a shooting killed a 12-year-old girl. The two shootings are not believed to be connected.
