The #insiders told us on Saturday morning that Cardinals receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. will soon be traded. They didn’t however, share the destination.

With Harrison reportedly due to be inactive on Sunday versus the Lions as the trade details are finalized, Sunday’s full slate of games could potentially reshuffle the deck.

Many believe the Texans are the team that will be trading for Harrison, a move that would reunite him with former Ohio State teammate C.J. Stroud. But what if the Texans lose to the Titans? Could Houston decide at that point to not devote future assets to a season that could be a lost cause?

Likewise, if Stroud is injured on Sunday, the whole “Buckeye reunion” vibe would be significantly diminished.

Then there’s the possibility that a contender will lose a starting receiver due to injury during Sunday’s games. Suddenly, a team that wasn’t in the mix for Harrison could revisit its position, quickly.

Nothing is ever done until it’s done. Sunday’s games could change the entire dynamic for a Harrison trade.

For now, the league-wide speculation points to the Texans as the destination for Harrison. Some, however, think the Raiders could be lurking. Either way, Sunday’s action could become a factor in the eventual transaction, with the only surprise at this point being Harrison not being traded.
