The IDF is still trying to determine what unidentified aerial object crossed from Lebanon into the Western Galilee on Saturday night. An alarm was raised at 7:57 p.m. in the Al-Aramsha area over fears of a hostile aircraft infiltration, after the object was identified. IDF forces were dispatched to search the area.

A few hours after the alarm, an IDF spokesman issued an official statement. “Following the alert that was activated at 7:57 p.m. in Al-Aramsha, IDF surveillance detected an unidentified aerial object in the border area with Lebanon,” the statement said.

Video and documentation show the suspicious object crossing the border. At this stage, it remains unclear what exactly entered Israeli territory.

The security establishment is checking whether it was a drone or another type of small aircraft. The IDF is continuing its attempts to determine its identity.

The IDF has not yet publicly identified the object and has clarified that forces are continuing to scan the area, although so far no unusual findings have been found.
