Joe Rogan believes the Iran war has upset President Donald Trump‘s supporters who may have voted for “no more wars.”

During an interview with actor Michael Douglas on “The Joe Rogan Experience” on Oct. 14, the conversative podcaster said he does not like “this Iran war in any way, shape or form. It doesn’t make any sense for us.”

“I think the majority of the United States felt like one of the things that we were voting for when we voted for Trump is no more wars. Stop this s—. It’s crazy,” Rogan said. “I remember one of his speeches or one of his interviews, someone was asking him about Ukraine. ‘Do you want Ukraine to win? Do you want Russia to win?’ And he said, ‘I just want people to stop dying.’ And most people who voted for him based on that feel very upset that there’s a new war going on.”

As the November U.S. midterm elections near, Trump said he does not regret going to war against Iran earlier this year. The United States and Israel have been at war with Iran and its allies since Feb. 28 after launching joint military strikes. Iran responded with its own strikes on Israel and Gulf states that host U.S. bases.

“I don’t believe in the word ‘regret.’ You can always question yourself a little bit,” Trump said in a Sept. 10 interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham when asked if he regretted the Iran war due to the impact it may have on the elections. “If I had it do again, I would do exactly as I did.”

During the interview, Trump dismissed suggestions that some of his supporters were upset about the war.

“I don’t think they’re demoralized. I think they’re very proud of the fact that I’m not letting Iran have a nuclear weapon,” Trump said.
