DOUGLAS COUNTY, Neb. (WOWT) – One man was found dead and another was hospitalized after a suspected shooting in Douglas County Saturday morning.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched for a well-being call at a home in the area of 219th and Hascall just before 7 a.m. Saturday.
At the home, deputies fond a 35-year-old man who had died of a gunshot wound. The DCSO says a second resident of the home, a 63-year-old man, was taken to the hospital prior to the deputies’ arrival.
The DCSO says the investigation into the incident is ongoing and there is no current threat to the public.
