Tehran’s expanded target list includes US diplomats and personnel – report
Iran has expanded its target list to include US diplomats and personnel, two Iranian officials, including a member of the Revolutionary Guards, told The New York Times in interviews on Saturday. The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed State Department reports of an Iranian plot to target Americans. They defended the plan as retaliation for the killing of Iranian officials and some of their relatives by Israel and the United States. Iran’s ability to carry out such attacks remains unclear, the newspaper reported.
