ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
The University of New Mexico Health System is diverting all ambulance traffic and all appointments at all clinics are being canceled due to a cybersecurity incident.
UNM Health says ambulances are being redirected to other hospitals in the area.
UNM Health officials say patients should not arrive to UNM Health facilities on October 26.
Those who are experiencing an emergency should call 911 and non-emergencies should be delayed.
Additionally, all non-essential personnel and students enrolled at the UNM School of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing and the College of Population Health should leave campus for the remainder on Monday. Remaining classes have been canceled.
The directive to leave does not apply to clinical employees or those identified as essential employees.
