A manhunt is underway in Tennessee for a convicted murderer who escaped a state prison and stole a truck during his getaway, authorities said Monday.
Jacob Allen Morley, 28, broke out of the Northwest Correctional Complex in Tiptonville before he was reported missing around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, the Tennessee Department of Correction said. By 1 a.m., he had stolen the truck — a white 2008 Ford F-350 — according to the state’s Bureau of Investigation.
