Rescue 118 conducts search after reports of vehicle entering Lough Swilly

The Rescue 118 rescue helicopter was dispatched from Sligo overnight after reports that a car has entered Lough Swilly.

It followed a call to emergency services that a vehicle had entered Lough Swilly.

The chopper was dispatched from its base just before 2am this morning and conducted a search of the area.

However, following a search of the area, the Rescue 118 was stood down and returned to base.
