Darren Till just sent Luke Rockhold to the land of wind and ghosts, and possibly retirement.

On Saturday night in the main event of Misfits Boxing 22, Till settled his grudge match with Rockhold, brutally knocking him out in the third round. The knockout folded Rockhold in half, and immediately raised questions about the former UFC middleweight champion’s future in combat sports.

Rockhold left the UFC on a three-fight losing streak, two by knockout, before a brief foray into BKFC where he was also finished. Rockhold did get a win over Joe Schilling in Karate Combat in 2024, but the loss to Till makes five losses in his past six fights the 40-year-old Rockhold.

Till, meanwhile, moved to 3-0 in Misfits this year and claimed the inaugural bridgerweight title. After his win, Till called out former boxing champion Carl Froch, who was sitting ringside but left the venue.
