MINNEAPOLIS — Hennepin Healthcare officials say three patients remain in their care, including two children, following last week’s mass shooting at Annunciation Church in south Minneapolis.
Of the two children, one is in critical condition and the other is in satisfactory condition, according to hospital officials. One adult is also still hospitalized and is in satisfactory condition.
Two children were killed after a shooter opened fire during a Mass at the church, marking the first week of school for the students. Officials say 21 people were injured, including 18 children. Seven kids were also admitted to Children’s Minnesota, and as of Friday, six of the seven had been discharged.
Community members have donated more than $780,000 to help the victims of the attack. The city of Minneapolis set up a text-to-donate line with funds going directly to victims and people affected by the mass shooting. To donate, you can text ACF1 to 41444.
Several other fundraisers have been set up for the individual victims.
