Key store features include the “Immersion Zone,” surrounded by powder coated, steel and 24 karat gold installations from renowned artist Victor Solomon, as well as an interactive “Experience Zone” that will play NBA highlights daily, and on-site customization services to personalize jerseys and hats.

“We look forward to bringing the NBA Store experience to Universal CityWalk and introduce it to the West Coast for the first time,” said Michael Brady, global head of licensing, commerce & business affairs, NBA.  “Since opening our first store in New York, we have been dedicated to offering unique retail experiences to fans across the United States and around the world.”

The new store is the NBA’s fourth flagship location in the U.S. It now operates more than 200 branded retail stores and attractions worldwide, including flagships in New York City and London, both run by Lids.

“We’re proud to continue our long-standing partnership with the NBA by expanding this dynamic retail experience to the West Coast,” added Bob Durda, president at Lids.

“The NBA Store at Universal CityWalk is a natural extension of our commitment to delivering elevated, immersive shopping environments for fans of all ages.  From exclusive product drops to interactive zones and on-site customization, this store reflects the energy and passion of the game. We’re excited to give fans in Los Angeles a space to celebrate their love for the sport.”
