Swissport is planning to record the conversations of its airport ground workers in a move that has sparked union outcry about worker privacy and claims the surveillance will intimidate workers into not speaking up.
The aviation services giant this month told staff it wants to attach cameras to all its vehicles, from forklifts to push-back tows, at Sydney and Melbourne airports to continuously record audio and video of anyone on or around them.
