Eddie Hall wants to fight Dillon Danis next, but it may not be the grudge match that everyone is expecting.

The pair finally came head-to-head last night after Danis stopped Warren Spencer within 15 seconds in his return to MMA action. They appeared to agree to a fight where Hall would drop to 300lb, although it now appears the American needs a bit more.

Hall is willing to drop enough weight to get to a career-low, and claims he can do it within just 12 weeks. However, Danis now wants him at the UFC limit of 265lb in order to make a deal happen.

Eddie Hall admits he is a fan of Dillon Danis despite fight talks

Eddie Hall and Dillon Danis have shared back-and-forth for the last year or so. Despite that it seems that the 2017 World’s Strongest Man is a big fan of his rival’s unique brand of trash talk, particularly when it comes to Logan and Jake Paul.

“I’m actually quite a fan of Dillon,” Hall admitted during an exclusive chat with Bloody Elbow. “I love his s— talk, he’s got brilliant s— talk. I think it was the feud with Logan Paul and his brother that first made me aware of him.

“I’m a bit of a fan, but you can be a fan of someone and still want to knock them out… I’ve been cruising with 3/4 sessions a week and getting ready for the contract to fall on my lap so I can get into the camp.”

Dillon Danis wants Eddie Hall to lose almost 100lb for grudge fight

After finally getting to 3-0 after six years out of action, Danis is keen on making his way to the UFC through activity and staying busy. It’s unclear what the sport’s main promotion would think of a freak show fight like the Hall one, but the New Yorker’s mind seems elsewhere.

In order to make the bout more palatable, he would like Hall to get to a weight he hasn’t reached since his teens of 265lb.

“He has to make at least the UFC heavyweight limit,” Danis told media including Bloody Elbow during the post-fight press conference. “He has to at least make that, but if he can do it then hell yeah I’d do it. 425lb is what he wanted to fight at, I’m 170lb. At least make the UFC weight.”
