In tonight’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, the judge announces that they can no longer wait for Abhira’s lawyer. Acting quickly, Armaan steps in to represent her himself. The judge instructs him to begin, but Armaan struggles with dizziness. Concerned, Abhira asks if he’s okay. Despite feeling unwell, Armaan assures her that he will fight her case and urges her to hold on a little longer, promising they will soon return home. He passionately argues that Abhira’s presence with Anshuman at the time of his death does not make her guilty.
Meanwhile, Vidya, Kaveri, and Maira offer heartfelt prayers for Abhira’s safety. Maira encourages Kaveri to pray with all her heart, and together with Vidya, they appeal to God to prove Abhira’s innocence, wishing for her to receive justice and live a happy life. Maira reassures them that Lord Krishna will guide them through this difficult time.

The opposing side questions Krish, who provides a statement implicating Abhira, convincing the judge that she was responsible for Anshuman’s death. Armaan attempts to counter, but the opposition emphasises that Abhira had both the motive and the opportunity to commit the crime.
Back home, Maira, along with Kaveri, Manisha, Vidya, and Kajal, prepares Abhira’s favourite meals. Maira is excited, anticipating Abhira’s return, while Geetanjali observes her quietly from a distance.
Guilty Verdict Shocks Everyone
In court, the opposition presents evidence claiming that Abhira tampered with Anshuman’s coffee using an illegal substance. The judge ultimately declares Abhira guilty of murder and sentences her to life imprisonment. Shocked and devastated, Abhira pleads with Armaan to help her return home. She reminds him of his promise to bring her back, expressing her fear of missing out on Maira’s milestones at school, college, and later in life.
Determined, Armaan decides to appeal the verdict in the high court. Meanwhile, Abhira imagines Maira resenting her for being in prison, which pushes her into an emotional breakdown. Armaan, too, is heartbroken thinking about Abhira and Maira.
