After a weekend full of surprises, college football’s Week 1 action wraps up Monday night with Bill Belichick’s debut at North Carolina.
The Tar Heels host TCU in Chapel Hill and all eyes will be on Belichick to see whether the six-time Super Bowl champ gets off on the right foot.

Belichick announced Wednesday his starting QB will be South Alabama transfer Gio Lopez, who accounted for 25 touchdowns and more than 3,000 yards combined for the Jaguars last season.
TCU is a sleeper in the Big 12 after finishing 9-4 a season ago. Josh Hoover is one of the best QBs in the conference and threw for over 3,900 yards last year. But if the Horned Frogs are really going to make noise this year, they need to fix a defense that gave up 30 or more points five times last year.
