The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce that Lorenzo Talataina has extended and upgraded his contract with the Club until the end of the 2028 NRL season.
A talented ball-running half, Talataina will join the Eels’ development roster for the 2026 and 2027 seasons, before moving into the Top 30 squad in 2028, marking a significant step forward in his professional rugby league journey.
Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill said the Club is thrilled to secure one of its most promising juniors.
“It’s incredibly exciting to retain homegrown talent like Lorenzo, who has come through our Eels pathways system. Lorenzo has match winning capabilities with his speed and skill and has worked hard on his game. We are proud of the way he has developed, both as a player and a young man, and look forward with great anticipation for the years ahead.”
Talataina played a pivotal role in leading the Parramatta Eels SG Ball team to the 2025 Grand Final and was named 2025 SG Ball Player of the Year. His leadership and standout performances also earned him the Players’ Player Award at the Parramatta Eels Junior Representatives Presentation Evening.
