The Money Saving Expert Founder has asked anyone who sees the videos of him to report them urgently and let others know it isn’t him.

On X, the furious consumer champion posted: “WARNING! A reminder I don’t ever do adverts. I don’t ever endorse “investment schemes”.

“If you see any adverts or promotions anywhere for “innovative platforms”, “get rich quick” “revealed investment secrets” then… THESE ARE CRIMINAL SCAMS ILLEGALLY USING MY NAME & FACE. YOU’LL LOSE YOUR MONEY!

“If you’re unsure then to check go to MoneySavingExpert. If I have anything I think it good moneysaving it goes there first. If you can’t find it there, then its almost certainly a scam!”

He has always been clear that he does not recommend any investments, and all his tips are about saving money, not stocks, shares or cryptocurrency.

He has campaigned for many years to end scam financial posts and has pushes the social networks to remove misleading financial posts.

“Anything advertising crypto, do not touch it. If you want to do crypto, you need to make sure you’re doing the research, not just clicking the link on social media.

“Do not touch adverts promising you to get rich, promising you investment. You do investments by doing detailed research and reading on legitimate websites, not by clicking the link.”
