Eurobasket ended prematurily for Rokas Jokubaitis

Lithuania will be without Rokas Jokubaitis for the remainder of Eurobasket 2025. The point guard, who was the best player on his team, went down against Finland, and that’s the end of the tournament for him.

As the German club announced, the 24-year-old guard suffered a “serious ligament injury in his left knee on Monday evening during the European Championship group match in Tampere against Finland (81-78). This was confirmed by on-site examinations on Tuesday morning. Jokubaitis will be out for six months until next spring. The new Bayern point guard will now return to Munich in close consultation with the Lithuanian national team, where the necessary surgical procedure will also be performed by a specialist.
