THE 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000 will start later than in recent years, Supercars has announced.

This year’s Great Race will kick off at 11:45am local time (AEDT) on Sunday October 12.

That compares to 11:30am last October and 11:15am for the previous two editions.

A total of 10 track sessions across four days for the 27-car Repco Supercars Championship field will be complemented by a support category line-up involving Super2, Carrera Cup, TGRA GR Cup, V8 SuperUtes and Touring Car Masters.

Demonstration laps for the incoming Gen3 Toyota Supercar have also been scheduled for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the event.

Race week at Bathurst ramps up with an in-town street party on the afternoon/evening of Wednesday October 8 where the Pirtek Pit Stop Challenge finals will unfold.
