It is likely that Apple is adding the finishing touches to iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and others before releasing them to the public in the coming weeks. Apple will launch the iPhone 17 lineup next week with the new iOS 26 software.

The changelog for the latest iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 developer beta 9 update shows that Apple has fixed several bugs, but there aren’t any major new features.

iOS 26 brings a new Liquid Glass user interface and a bunch of other changes such as the redesigned Camera app, better ChatGPT integration, new features for inbuilt apps, and more. iPadOS 26 will get a new multi window interface for improved multitasking.
