The Crows face the Magpies on Thursday night

Adelaide has made two changes ahead of its qualifying final against Collingwood at Adelaide Oval on Thursday night.

As confirmed earlier on Wednesday, defender Max Michalanney returns to the line-up.

He is joined by forward Luke Pedlar, with the pair recovering from hamstring injuries.

Michalanney has not featured for the Crows since straining his hamstring against Port Adelaide in Round 20, while Pedlar reported hamstring soreness ahead of Round 23.

“Maxy has been a constant in our line-up over his three seasons, he is held in the highest regard for his dependability, team first approach and his ruthless competitiveness,” Adelaide Head of Football Adam Kelly said.

“These are all attributes that make him a great asset along with his capacity to play multiple roles within the team.

“Peds’ most recent outing against West Coast in Round 22 showcased what he offers the team.

“His explosiveness and combativeness create opportunities in our forward half, not only with ball in hand or in possession but also through the way in which he can disrupt the opposition.”

First-year midfielder Sid Draper and Billy Dowling have been omitted.

Dowling, Chris Burgess and Jordon Butts have been named as the emergencies.

The Crows will name their substitute one hour before the first bounce.

Adelaide faces Collingwood in the qualifying final at Adelaide Oval at 7.10pm ACST.
