Nine’s chief AFL reporter Tom Morris has revealed that Izak Rankine apologised to Adelaide’s AFLW playing group on Thursday morning, ahead of the qualifying final.
Rankine will in all likelihood miss the finals series because of a homophobic slur he made the last time his side played Collingwood, with the AFL suspending him for four weeks.
After a trip overseas to get away from the scrutiny, Rankine returned this week and spoke in front of the entire Crows AFLW playing group on Thursday.
