Anker has revealed more details about the upcoming soundcore Nebula X1 Pro mobile theater station. The portable projector solution shares similarities with the Nebula X1 (curr. $2,999 at Amazon). This latest model, which will be on show at IFA 2025, was announced in mid-August 2025, when some of its specifications were revealed.
For example, we already knew that the Nebula X1 Pro features 4K triple laser technology, said to deliver up to 3,500 ANSI lumens brightness. The company has confirmed that users will be able to project images up to 300 inches wide with a 0.9-1.5:1 throw ratio. This model is also said to offer a native 5,000:1 contrast ratio and a dynamic 56,000:1 contrast ratio. The image can be quickly perfected with tools like automatic focus, keystone correction and size optimization. Plus, the integrated gimbal allows you to adjust the alignment by up to 25°.
Anker has also shared more information about the 7.1.4 speaker system. This includes four detachable speakers, which wirelessly connect to the X1 Pro with 25 ms latency at up to 30 m (~98 ft). Plus, the subwoofer housed inside the body of the X1 Pro floats to prevent projector jitter. There is support for Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio, and the brand’s proprietary FlexWave technology is said to intelligently optimize for the position of the speakers and the acoustics in your environment. Another recently announced feature for the X1 Pro is Google TV, and the Netflix app is also included.
On the soundcore Nebula X1 Pro’s webpage, the company notes that the device will crowdfund on Kickstarter, with the campaign launching in the last week of September; we have been informed that it is scheduled to start on September 22nd, with the product due to ship to backers from November 2025. Pledges will start from $2,999, with the device expected to retail for $4,999. However, prospective customers are currently being offered the opportunity to secure an extra $500 off the Kickstart Launch Price, meaning they will pay $2,499, when they place a $100 deposit. The deposit is also said to include priority shipping for these backers.
