In the 37th minute with the Broncos leading 6-4, Asofa-Solomona attempted a tackle on Talty but his shoulder caught him flush on the chin.
Asofa-Solomona has a history of suspensions and was rubbed out of last year’s grand final after copping a ban in the prelim.
Referee Grant Atkins wasted no time sending Asofa-Solomona for a 10 minute spell after consultation with the Bunker.
“Another high tackle and Nelson Asofa-Solomona is involved,” Ginnane said on Fox League.
“Oh boy Nelson he is riding his luck, that is direct contact to the head and this is a problem. There night could be about to get a whole lot worse.
“Nelson Asofa-Solomona is in trouble and off to the sin bin. It’s 12 on 12, but what are the ramifications?
“He has just come back from suspension. He has only been charged once this year, but if that gets more than grade one treatment tomorrow morning, they will be missing him as well as Jahrome Hughes in the opening final.

“He has got a charge to worry about. Grade one contact charge he will be OK, but grade two that is suspension territory.”
Greg Alexander believes Asofa-Solomona is a liability for the Storm and coach Craig Bellamy because of his height and tackle technique.
“Nelson coming in after starting off the bench and gets 10 minutes,” Alexander said.
HUGE blow as Hughes suffers broken wrist | 00:39
“Nelson is such a concern. If I was Craig Bellamy I’m thinking, well is Nelson worth having out there?
“Because if he doesn’t bend his back, the height that he is he can make contact with the head without even trying.”
The Storm are set to be without Jahrome Hughes with a broken wrist for their first final against the Bulldogs, so losing Asofa-Solomona to a suspension would be a huge double blow.
