The Australia Wallabies and Argentina Los Pumas will open up the third round of the Rugby Championship at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6 in what is set to be a crucial match to determine who could take the title.
Australia has made a convincing case for itself through the first two rounds. The Wallabies took an opening-day win over then-No. 1 South Africa to shock rugby fans worldwide and made it a close game the second time around but ultimately taking a loss.
Argentina oppositely tasted defeat in its first contest against New Zealand, but pulled through in the second round to beat the All Blacks in front of its home crowd in Buenos Aires.
Both teams have shown that they can keep pace with the top two rugby squads in the world, but Saturday’s performance could indicate who has the upper hand going into the final few matches.
