You can expect vociferous support from the Paris crowd tonight for all of the French fighters in action.
It did not surprise me when Tom Aspinall was drowned out by boos yesterday at a news conference as the fans showed their support for home fighter Ciryl Gane.
I’ve been at the Accor Arena for Bellator in 2023 and the atmosphere is like nothing I have experienced when the home athletes are in action.
Nearly every fan was on their feet shouting and chanting, with firecrackers even being lit in some parts of the arena.
