Catherine, Princess of Wales, cheered loudly as she watched Australia lose to England at the Women’s Rugby World Cup on Saturday.
The 43-year-old was spotted cheering on her patron team the Red Roses in the stands of the Brighton & Hove Albion Stadium, with the royal being the patron of the Rugby Football Union (RFU).
Her husband Prince William is patron of the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU), with the 43-year-old dad being in Exeter at the same time, supporting Wales in their match (and eventual loss) against Fiji.

The mum-of-three donned a McQueen blazer with a white Knatchbull blouse, pinning up her new blonde hair in a half-up half-down hairstyle
She smiled and cheered from the stands, sitting alongside English rugby union players Zoe Aldcroft and Marlie Packer, Vice-Chair of the Executive Board of World Rugby Jonathan Webb, and President of the Rugby Football Union (RFU) Deborah Griffin OBE.
The royal even took the time to meet the players in their dressing rooms after their win, speaking animatedly with Megan Jones, Ellie Kildunne and Jessica Breach of England, who gifted her a red cowboy hat.

She also met with the referees of the match, shaking hands with Amelia Luciano who was delighted by the encounter.
Kate’s fighting spirit energised the team, with England beating Australia 47-7 to finish top of Pool A. The Red Roses will be facing Scotland in the quarter-finals next weekend.
One month before the match, she penned a message to the team on social media.
