Hawthorn duo James Sicily and Lloyd Meek have been fined by the Match Review Officer (MRO) for separate offences, while GWS forward Callum Brown will also hand over a fee.

The Hawks prevailed over the Giants in Saturday’s epic elimination final at ENGIE Stadium.

Sicily was fined for careless contact with an umpire during the first quarter, while Meek was punished for his strike on direct opposition Keiren Briggs.

The pair will pay $1,500 ($1,000 guilty plea).

As for Brown, he will also pay the same amount for his strike on James Worpel in the first term.

Earlier in the weekend, Geelong’s Tom Atkins was fined for careless contact with an umpire $3,125 ($1,875 guilty plea).

Adelaide’s Mark Keane narrowly avoided a match suspension for his strike on Steele Sidebottom, needing to pay a whopping $10,000 fine ($6,250 guilty plea).

Collingwood’s Jordan De Goey should also count himself lucky for his bump on Josh Worrell. The Pies match winner will pay $3,000 ($2,000 guilty plea).
