What’s Happening In Jiu-Jitsu
-WNO 30 will feature an eight-man open weight grand prix bracket. We are currently looking for eight of the most exciting grapplers in the world who want their shot at a big cash prize.
-Five men qualified for the ADCC World Championships at the European, African, & Middle Eastern Trials over the weekend in Warsaw, Poland. They include the youngest Trials winner ever Niko Mikuliszyn and WNO veteran Declan Moody. Every match is still available exclusively on FloGrappling.

-Craig Jones released a video explaining why B-Team should be considered the rightful winner of CJI 2, featuring head judge Miha Perhavic.
-WNO Double Champion Mica Galvão & Olympic Wrestling Champion Amit Elor announced they are expecting their first child. Congratulations to the happy family.
-The B-Team will officially rebrand as Simple Man Martial Arts, with much of the same leadership team staying intact. The major change here is that Craig will not be involved.
-ADCC & IBJJF World Champion Rodolfo Vieira will face NCAA Wrestling & U23 UWW Champion Bo Nickal at UFC 322, going down in New York on November 15th.
-UFC BJJ announced much of their next card, including a 155lb title bout between Carlos Henrique and Matheus Gabriel.
-IBJJF World Champion Mahamad Aly will face Iwo Baraniewski on next Tuesday’s DWCS, with a contract to fight in the UFC on the line.
-Main Character held a side event that featured some really good grapplers. Two results to highlight are Simple Man’s Nick Mataya submitting #10 ranked middleweight Francisco Lo & Natasha Druggan defending her promotional title by darce choke over Vitoria Assis.
-Natalie Salcedo hit a nasty dead orchard-style armbar at ONE Fight Night 35, creating a wicked hyperextension for the submission win.
-Elder Cruz announced a move to Toledo, OH, where he will now represent Adamas Jiu-Jitsu and Pedigo Submission Fighting
-Full squads were announced for Polaris 33, featuring teams from South America and Asia/Oceania.
What’s Coming Up In BJJSeptember 20th: BJJ Stars 17 will be going down in Sao Paulo, Brazil with a -70kg GP and some fun super fights in the gi, including Rerisson Gabriel and Diego Sodré and Leo Ferreira vs Fellipe Andrew.September 20th: Ocean BJJ Pro Championship is happening again at -80kg and +80kg, with champions Tarik Hopstock and Luccas Lira in the mix the defend their titles.October 3rd: IBJJF No-Gi Pans is happening, one of their no-gi majors, and it returns to New York City after a 5-6 year hiatus.
