The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are thrilled to announce the extensions of Head Coach Cameron Ciraldo, local junior Jacob Kiraz and General Manager of Football Phil Gould AM.

In an exciting boost ahead of the Telstra Premiership Finals series, Ciraldo and Gould have extended their stay until the end of 2031 after signing four and five-year extensions respectively.

Meanwhile, Kiraz is now locked in until the end of 2028 after re-signing for a further 12 months.

Since arriving to the Bulldogs in 2023, Ciraldo has emerged as one of the most talented coaches in the NRL.

The 40-year-old was nominated for Dally M Coach of the Year in 2024 after guiding the Club to its first finals appearance in eight years, while most recently under his watch the Bulldogs have secured a top four finish for the first time since 2012.

Fan favourite Kiraz has had arguably his best season to date with the workhorse winger recording nine tries, six try assists and 12 linebreaks in 17 appearances thus far, while also averaging 179 metres per game.

Finally, Gould – who is regarded as one of the smartest minds in the game – has been busy working behind the scenes as General Manager of Football since arriving to the Club in 2021 and will continue to do so for a further five years.

The Bulldogs are also pleased to share that the Club is close to finalising a long-term extension for Captain Stephen Crichton that will keep him in the Blue and White.

The trio of extensions – plus the exciting update on Crichton – were proudly announced by Bulldogs Chairman Adam Driussi at the Club’s annual Dr. George Peponis Medal on Monday night.

“I’m thrilled that we’ve locked in Gus and Cameron for the long term,” Driussi said.

“Gus has rebuilt our entire football operation while Cam has transformed us into genuine contenders on the field.

“Jacob has also grown to become one of the best wingers in the game.

Having this core group locked in provides our players and supporters with certainty about where this Club is going.

“Stephen has proven himself as an outstanding Captain and one of the competition’s truly elite players. We look forward to confirming his future soon.”
