THE 2025 Shannons Adelaide Rally has announced a “world-record” capacity field.

Among the 471 entries, claimed to be the most in the world for a closed-road rally event, will be Supercars race winner Scott Pye who’ll have partner Shannen Kiely by his side as navigator.

Pye will return to the main game this week as Will Brown’s Triple Eight enduro co-driver at the AirTouch 500 at The Bend, before they take on the Repco Bathurst 1000 in October.

He and Kiely will then take part in the Adelaide Rally on November 21-23, steering a McLaren Artura in the Prima Tour and Zagame Tour classes.

A $20,000 prize is on the line for the outright event win, with former World Rally Championship ace Hayden Paddon and one-time Supercars young gun Alex Rullo headlining the Pro/Competition class.

They are both due to drive a Hyundai i20 N Rally2.

Greg Murphy will feature on the Main Tour, aboard a Holden VH Commodore navigated by Gary Reid.

The Adelaide Rally will be held the weekend before the South Australian capital hosts the Repco Supercars Championship grand final.
