Week 1 of the 2025 NFL regular season is in the books.

It might be early, but NFL fans may have already seen the game of the year. Sunday ended with the Buffalo Bills’ miraculous 41-40 comeback win over the Baltimore Ravens. The Bills trailed by 15 points in the final quarter, but managed to claw all the way back, winning the game on a last-second field goal from newly signed kicker Matt Prater.

On the other end of the spectrum, the first Monday Night Football game of the year saw an epic Chicago Bears collapse, as the Minnesota Vikings rallied for a 27-24 win in QB J.J. McCarthy’s NFL debut.

Elsewhere in the NFC North, on Sunday, the Green Bay Packers gained an early advantage in what looks to be a tough divisional race with a 27-13 victory against the Detroit Lions. Newly added pass rusher Micah Parsons praised the Green Bay fans for how they embraced him, calling it a “one of one” experience.

Aaron Rodgers appeared to rediscover his winning touch with four touchdown passes in the Pittsburgh Steelers34-32 win over the New York Jets. Following the game, Rodgers said he was “happy to beat everyone associated with the Jets,” his former team.

“There were probably people in the organization that didn’t think I could play anymore,” he added. “So it was nice to remind those people that I still can.”

Among the notable injuries coming out of the week was George Kittle leaving the 49ers’ game in the second quarter with a hamstring injury. He’ll reportedly be sidelined for up to five weeks, while QB Brock Purdy also sustained multiple injuries. While he didn’t leave Sunday’s game, Purdy is dealing with a toe injury and a shoulder injury.

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers took a hit on his knee versus the New England Patriots and trainers did not allow him to return. And Atlanta Falcons receiver Drake London hurt his shoulder on their final drive versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
