Both the first half and the second half of “Wednesday” Season 2 are now streaming on Netflix, and it looks like the young adult horror series is already getting its first spinoff.

“Wednesday” star Fred Armisen has confirmed in a chat with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” this week that an Uncle Fester spinoff series is now in development.

“Yeah, we’re working on it,” Armisen told Fallon. “It’s fantastic.”

Armisen didn’t comment any further on the series, which is likely still in very early development at this time. Stay tuned for more on Netflix’s Uncle Fester series as we learn it.

Uncle Fester has long been a beloved figure in the world of “The Addams Family,” so it makes sense that Netflix is planning a series centered entirely on the oddball character.

In the new second season of the hit series, “Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await.

“This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem.

“Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery.”

Creator/showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar return for the spine-tingling second season of “Wednesday,” alongside executive producer and director Tim Burton.
