PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women’s golf team shot a 287 on the final day of the Golfweek Fall Challenge at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club on Tuesday to finish three-over for the tournament in fourth place. Charlotte won the tournament at seven-under. Of the four Sun Belt schools, the Chants finished the highest.
Coastal’s leading finisher was Varatkarn Kunkaew, who finished in a tie for seventh at one-under after shooting a 71 in the final round. In her first tournament with the Chants, Carla Bourdeaux tied for 13th overall at one-over par.
Coastal will head to Toledo, Ohio for the Inverness Intercollegiate September 15-16 for their next fall tournament.
