It’s been a whirlwind year for Banch. After winning 2024 VFL premiership with Werribee, Banch was snapped up by the Kangaroos with pick two in this season’s AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft.
He went on to make four appearances under senior coach Alastair Clarkson, debuting in Round 19 against Sydney at the SCG.

The winner will be revealed at the Brownlow Medal on Monday, September 22.
