Congratulations to Trinity’s Firsts Basketball team, who have claimed the NSW All Schools title, emerging as the top high school basketball team in the state.

In the semi-final, Trinity faced a strong Bulli High School side and had to rally after trailing at the end of the first quarter, eventually securing a 108–70 win. The Grand Final saw Trinity take on St Gregory’s College, the reigning champions, and deliver a composed performance to finish ahead 106–67.

This marks a historic moment for Trinity Basketball. It was the first time the School had progressed to the NSW All Schools Final Four since 2003, when the team fell short in the semi-final. This year, they not only returned to the Final Four but went all the way claiming the championship for the first time in Trinity’s history.

As NSW champions, we will now go on to represent the state in the Championship Division at the Australian School Championships on the Gold Coast this December.

The team’s success reflects their “team before self” ethos, disciplined preparation, and the strength of the School’s basketball program. A special thank you to our dedicated coaching staff for their leadership and commitment to developing both skill and character.

We also extend our congratulations to all participating schools for showcasing the depth of talent in NSW school basketball.
