A satellite tech and data company has won this year’s Croc Pitch competition in the Northern Territory.

The annual event gives start-up companies a chance to pitch their ideas and innovations to a panel of judges, for a chance to win up to $1 million in venture capital.

ABC Rural caught up with the winning company Arlula.  

Chief executive Sebastian Chaoui, believes Arlula’s technology can help a range of industries such as defence and mining, and even help crack down on illegal fishing.
