The AFL has confirmed the days and times for the Preliminary Finals in Week Three of the 2025 Toyota AFL Finals Series:

Friday, 19 September
Second Preliminary Final, Geelong Cats vs Hawthorn
MCG, 7.40pm AEST

Saturday, 20 September 
First Preliminary Final, Collingwood vs Brisbane Lions or Gold Coast SUNS
MCG, 5.15pm AEST

The Geelong Cats will host Hawthorn in the Second Preliminary Final on Friday night at the MCG.

Collingwood will face the winner of the Second Semi Final between the Brisbane Lions and the Gold Coast SUNS in the First Preliminary Final, scheduled for Saturday twilight at the MCG.

Ticketing information, including on-sale dates and times, for the Preliminary Finals in Week Three of the 2025 Toyota AFL Finals Series will be confirmed following the completion of the Second Semi Final.

Both matches in Week Three of the 2025 Toyota AFL Finals Series will be broadcast live nationally on the Seven Network and Fox Footy and streamed live on Kayo.

The 2025 Toyota AFL Grand Final will be held at the MCG on Saturday, September 27 at 2.30pm AEST.

As the official airline of the AFL, Virgin Australia has announced it will add additional flights to Melbourne for the Preliminary Finals in Week Three of the 2025 Toyota AFL Finals Series.

Additional return services from either Brisbane or the Gold Coast will be confirmed by the airline by 5pm on Monday, 15 September, giving interstate fans more travel options to see their teams play in Melbourne.
