“Our student-athletes consistently ask the best from themselves and one another and within that, continue to reach new heights as a program,” head coach Katherine Auguste said. “I am proud of way that each person gives full effort to their studies, teammates, sport, and community.”

The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college women’s basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2024-25 season is the 29th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.

“This group is special and seeing them engage with our amazing Colorado College community as they pursue their passions is inspiring,” Auguste said. “Every single person on our roster could name the team around them who helps them to be their best. Having a campus community that promotes academic and athletic excellence hand-in-hand is special. This honor also recognizes the incredible amount of work and dedication from our athletic and academic family on campus – faculty, staff, advisors, and so many others. We appreciate every person who helps our student-athletes be their best.”

All 13 players on the CC roster were named to the SCAC Academic Winter Honor Roll in June.

The Tigers had four players in Zoë Tomlinson, Healy Bledsoe. Kyle Rowland and Laura Strenk be named to the CSC Academic All-District team back in March.

In April, Tomlinson was named a CSC Academic All-American first-team selection

CC had success both on and off the court, finishing the season with a 23-4 record, its second-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament and a SCAC Blue Division championship.

“I appreciate the WBCA for their commitment to highlighting amazing achievements by student-athletes both on and off of the court. We are honored to have been recognized in this way.”
