Senior Tate Doggett has a team-high 238 yards rushing and three touchdowns on 24 carries, and is tied for the longest touchdown run in 2A so far this season with an 80-yarder.The 3A Huskies opened the season with a 45-20 loss against ADM (Adel) before beating Creston, 28-27, last week. Junior Carson Cook leads the team with 285 yards passing, with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. It’ll be a warm one Friday night. We’ll see highs in the low-90s in central Iowa this afternoon and the heat will linger well into the evening, with temps in the high-80s around 7 p.m. kickoff time.

Our Week 3 game of the week is Winterset at Van Meter. KCCI’s Jeff Dubrof will be there for kickoff at 7 p.m.
